The Philadelphia Eagles are back at Lincoln Financial Field to take on the Los Angeles Rams.
The Birds, favored by 3.5 points at home, are trying to stay undefeated with a win that advances them to 3-0. They figure to face tough competition from the Rams, who are also lossless and looking to get revenge for their Divisional Round playoff loss in Philly earlier this year. Should be a good game.

FIRST QUARTER
- The Eagles won the coin toss and elected to defer to put the Rams on offense first. The Rams took over at their own 23-yard line. Adoree’ Jackson missed an open field tackle (shocker) on Kyren Williams to allow a first down reception. Zack Baun stepped in front of a Matthew Stafford throw for an interception! That guy is so friggin good at football. Stafford was pressured by a blitzing rookie Jihaad Campbell, who got held.
- The Eagles took over at the plus 38-yard line. Saquon Barkley ran for one yard. Jalen Hurts completed a pass to DeVonta Smith for five yards. Facing 3rd-and-4, Hurts took off running up the middle and slipped short of the marker. Facing 4th-and-2, Nick Sirianni correctly kept the offense on the field … and Hurts ran on his first designed run of the season (!) for a first down. Jared Verse had the Eagles’ QB dead to rights but got tricked by the fake handoff. Facing 3rd-and-11, Hurts hit DeVonta Smith on a slant just short of the marker. Tush Push time … no flag (despite the NFL’s increased emphasis on the play) … just a first down. Hurts threw to A.J. Brown in the end zone and the wide receiver drew a pass interference penalty to give the Birds 1st-and-goal at the 1-yard line. Tush Push No. 2 was good for the Eagles’ first touchdown! EAGLES 7, RAMS 0.
